The last will and testament of Issachar E. Rowley, deceased, viz.
I, Issachar E. Rowley, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory, (blessed be Almighty God for the same), do make and publish this, my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say).
First, I give and bequeath unto my (sic) unto my beloved wife, Jane Maria Rowley, the use of my farm situated in the towne of New Lebanon, Col. Co N.Y. of about one hundred acres during her natural life together with the use of my personal estate of whatever kind & nature soever & whenever found.
Second After the death of my wife, Jane Maria Rowley, I give and bequeath the use of all my real estate before described together with my personal estate to my daughter Marion E. Sanford during her natural life and after the death of my daughter Marion I hereby direct my executor hereafter named or Administrators if appointed to sell my estate at Public or private sale to the best advantage & the money received for the same I give and bequeath as follows, viz:
One thousand dollars ($1,000.00) to the trustees of the Congregational Church of New Lebanon & it is to be by them invested in some solvent saving Institution and the interest on the said one thousand dollars to be used by said trustees or their successors in office for Church purposes for said church and two hundred dollars to the trustees of the cemeter of Evergreen and the said two hundred dollars ($200.00) to be deposited by them in some solvent savings Institution and the interest on the said two hundred dollars is to be used by said trustees or their successors in office to keep the Rowley lot in said Cemetary in order and cleaning the stones on said lot. After the one thousand dollars for church purposes and cemetery purposes are paid, the rest and residue of my real and personal estate, I give and bequeath to Mrs. Hattie C. R. Clark, daughter of Matthew J. Jones, Judah R. Jones, son of Matthew J. Jones, Henry Rowley, son of James H. Rowley and Charles Rowley, son of Henry J. Rowley and to their legal representatives as follows Viz: The said Hattie C. R. Clark, Judah Jones and Henry Rowley are to have two dollars each as often as Charles Rowley has one dollar.
And I do hereby constitute and appoint Joel H. Reynolds of New Lebanon N.Y., Executor to this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former will by me made.
In testimony whereof, I the said Issachar E. Rowley have to this my last will & testament contained on one sheet of paper, subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 19th day of September 1899.

The above instrument of one sheet was at the date thereof declared to us by the testator, Issachar E. Rowley in the presence of each of us to be the last will and testament and we at his request sign our names hereto as attesting witnesses. | ||
