CONTRIBUTOR'S NOTE: This William G. Rowley is most likely the son of Frances Rowley (ca 1795-1876) and Elizabeth Gilmore. William was born in South Fayette Township around 1830. His wife was Mary Cubbage Wallace and their family consisted of six children as documented in a book about the Lesnett family by Wm. Bennett. They are: McBride A., Harry S., Elizabth G., Margaret C., Irene and Frank. It seems there were two other children, however they were not named in the Bennett book, probably because they died in infancy. There is a William G. Rowley, again most likely the same man who wrote the above will, that is buried in Melrose Cemetery, near Bridgeville Cemetery, South Fayette Township, Allegheny County PA. The marker reads as follows: FATHER - William G. Rowley, died 24 April 1880, age 50 years. On the same stone is, David Judson, died 29 July 1862, age 1 year, 10 months. Also, Infant son, died 27 June 1869. Children of Wm. G. & M. C. Rowley.
