The last will and testament of Issachar Rowley of the Town of New Lebanon in the County of Columbia deceased.
In the name of God Amen. Issachar Rowley of the Town of New Lebanon County of Columbia and State of New York being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory blessed by Almighty God for the same, do make and publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner & form as follows. Viz:
I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Lucy my desk and large Bible, also three hundred dollars together with one third of all my household furniture.
I give and devise unto my wife Lucy, one third of all my real estate to be for her use during her life and at her decease to be divided among my several children in the same proportion as the remaining two thirds hereafter mentioned which shall then be unto them and to their heirs and assigns forever.
I give and devise unto my several children. Viz: Alonzo, Edwin, William, Mary Ann, Rachel & Lucy the remaining two thirds of my real estate of land and tenements to be divided as follows to each of my above named sons I give two shares and to each of my above named daughters one share, which property shall then be unto them and their heirs and assigns forever.
I will and order that the above named estate given to my several children shall remain in common & undivided until my youngest surviving child is twenty one years of age and that each and every of them as they arrive to the age of twenty one years shall be entitled thereafter to the profits arising from their shares until the time of division.
I give and bequeath unto my sons, via: Alonso, Edwin & William to be divided equally between them two thirds of all my stock of any kind.
I give and bequeath unto my wife Lucy one third of all my stock, and after her decease to be equally divided between my sons.
I give and bequeath unto my three daughters, Viz. Mary Ann, Rachel & Lucy the remaining two thirds of my household furniture together with the one third that may remain at the decease of my wife Lucy to be equally divided between them.
Lastly I do make, constitute and appoint my wife Lucy and my son Alonzo Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this first day of March eighteen hundred and twenty one,
In Presence of the Subscribing Witnesses. We the undersigned have hereunto subscribed our name as Witnesses to the last will and testament in presence of the Testator as dated above.

State of New York County of Columbia. Be it remembered that on the thirteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one personally appeared before one James I. Van Allen, Surrogate of the County of Columbia Judah Rowley who being duly sworn did declare and say, that he saw Issachar Rowley execute the preceding Instrument as and for his last Will & Testament, that at the time of the Execution thereof he the said Issachar was of sound disposing mind & memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of this deponent, and that William Baily and Sherebiah Knafer? And this deponent severally Subscribed their names as Witnesses thereto in the presence of the Testator and of each other.

State of New York County of Columbia to: Be it remembered that on this same day and year last aforesaid Lucy Rowley Executrix and Alonzo Rowley Executor in the said Will named came before me the said Surrogate and were duly qualified to the due performance & Execution thereof by taking the Oath as in such case is by law appointed.

The People of the State of New York, by the grace of God free and Independent, to all to whom these presents shall come or may concern send greeting: Know ye that New Lebanon in the County of Columbia the day of the date hereof before James I. Van Allen Esquire, Surrogate of our said County the last Will and Testament of Issachar Rowley deceased (a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) was proved and is now approved and allowed of by us, and the said deceased having whilst he lived and at the time of his death.
