The last Will and Testatment of Issachar Rowley of the town of Canaan in the county of Columbia, deceased.
In the name of God, Amen. I Issachar Rowley of the town of Canaan in the County of Columbia and the State of New York being in health of body and of sound mind and memory blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following. (that is to say)
I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Honour the third part of my household furniture or what property she brought with her when she became my wife. Also two good milch cows, the above is in lieu of her dower or power of the thirds.
I give and bequeath unto my dutiful son Abijah Rowley, his heirs and assigns all I own of a lot of land he now lives on in the town of Painted Post, County of Steuben and State of New York.
I give and bequeath unto my dutiful son Issachar Rowley the one half of the lot of land I now live on with one half of the dwelling house, and the one half of the other buildings, appurtenances thereunto belonging, and also the one half of another lot of land known by the name of the Curtiss lot.
I give and bequeath unto my dutiful son Judah Rowley the one half of the lot of land I live on with the one half of the dwelling house and other buildings and appurtenances thereunto belonging and also the one half of another lot of land known by the name of the Curtiss lot, also all the land I own of the land that was Consider Foxes and Abel Motts land, the above Issachar and Judah and their heirs and assigns.
Also I give and bequeath unto my son Issachar and Judah one yoke of oxen and all my farming utensils and and also my wearing apparel to be equally divided between them.
I give and bequeath the residue of my personal Estate that is my livestock and household furniture unto my four daughters and also my moneys debts dues all my personal property belonging to me at my decease after my just debts and funeral charges are paid and not otherwise bequeathed to be equally divided amongst them /viz/ Abigail Daulph, Rachel Goodrich, Polly Beldin, and Betsey Rowley except my wearing apparel as to my sons Warren Rowley, Jonathan Rowley, Asaph Rowley and Anson Rowley they have each of them received their part of Inheritance that fell to them by me.
Lastly, I do hereby appoint my dutiful son Issachar Rowley to be the sole Executor of this my last will and testament and also guardian to my son Judah until he is of lawful age, hereby revoking all wills by me formerly made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten.
