In the name of God Amen, I Eleanor Rowley of Plumcreek township Armstrong County, Widow, Being sick and weak in body but of perfect mind, and memory and knowing the mortality of my body that it is appointed for all men to die, I assign my soul to God who gave it and my body to the dust to be buried in a decent and respectable manner, and touching such worldly substance which God has been pleased to bless me with, I give and dispose of them in the form and manner following. That is to say after my funeral expenses and just debts are discharged.
In the first place, I give and bequeath unto my son Isaac Rowley the one half of my real Estate, being the farm on which we now live containing two hundred and thirty two acres and allowance to be equally divided and that he the said Isaac to have his choice and the balance of my real Estate together with my personal property, I allow to be sold, and the proceeds to be divided amongst my children as follows,
That is to say, To my daughter Martha Rowley, I give and bequeath three hundred dollars, for the care and trouble she has had with me, And after Isaac Rowley shall have got the land above mentioned, and Martha Rowley has her three hundred dollars, I give and bequeath unto all my children Share and Share alike, that is to say my son Isaac Rowley one share, Cornelius Rowley one share, Mary Rowley one share, Jane Wisor one share, Hannah Johnston one share, Nancy Frick one share Martha Rowley one share and Elizabeth Balvin one share, and I do hereby constitute and appoint Robert McIntosh Executor of this my last will and testament and I do disannul all former Wills and Testaments made by me
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty three.

Miller Register and in and for such county personally appeared John Flickinger and John Rowley two of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing who being dtdy sworn as the law directs doth depose and say, that they were present and saw and heard Eleanor Rowley sign seal publish pronounce and declare the foregoing will (by making her mark) as and for her last will and testament and at the time of so doing She the said Testatrix was of perfect sound mind memory and understanding to the of their knowledge observation and belief.
